Obama is winning big currently, not sure why some are saying McCain is. The polls that have voted show him leading.

An interview with some Republican bigwig, Dick Wadhums (MOST UNFORTUNATE NAME EVER) confirms New Mexico going to Obama.

He's just conceded that they've lost.

"We'll regroup and win in 2010" (Which does make me question his maths... surely.)

I don't completely trust anyone until the final results are in.

If you look at some of those projected winners (and that's all they are, projections), you might find it curious to project a winner with 3% of the votes counted... or zero percent, as Washington DC is showing right now on ABC's web site. With zero percent reported, they're projecting it for Obama.

Michigan's got 27% counted and Obama has less than a 1 percent lead. 550,000 votes out of 44 million cast, and 120 million yet to be counted. Yet they're projecting Michigan for Obama. Go figure.

What???? Those numbers are way off. My local TV station's web site counting 44 million people in Michigan? And 160 million total? There are only 250 million or so in the country... no *WAY* do we have that many. Their IT folks must have screwed up the feeds...

Obama has a 9% lead with 600,000 votes to 500,000 (roughly). That looks more plausible.

We had a local dentist named Harry Dickey. I would say that was worse.

Ok, back on topic now......

I fail to see that at all. Having a name that begins with Dickwad doesn't really get much worse

"Projecting" winners early is a BIG part of what caused all the confusion in Florida in 2000. Officials should wait until they have at least 25-30% of the precincts in before offering any "projections".

I get 207 to 135.

And I'm not trusting websites, but I am trusting the live tv 100%.

They are showing projections, and results. On results they go to a guy in that state. So its all pretty reliable I think.

And see, i said N Mexico went to Obama, every website is still saying Mcain that ive seen..

So, was Mexico meant to be Mcains?

And people on american Tv are saying "we know now". Which we do. There is a 0.1% chance he wont be.

Obama is the next president!

w00t!

Ok. You're right. I didn't read the whole name together.
