Title explains it all. For me it was my birthday present when I was about eight. It was a Sega Mega Drive which I played for about roughly seven years non stop. Even as recently as last year I would still power it up for a blast off Jungle Strike, Street Fighter II or Sonic 3. It's now gathering dust in the attic but I will always remember it with a smile on my face.

So, what's the best gift you've ever received?

honestly, I did not get many gifts as a child (do not ask why), so I think the best gift I got was a 1979 Chevy Caprice Classic, 2 door, police grade engine I miss that car

Statue my grandmother gave me for birthday 3 weeks before she died... it's very special to me for very obvious reasons I'd guess.

Also my exgirlfriend (now just a friend) from Germany made me a Dreamcatcher, it's very beautiful and very nicely made.

When people say thank you after I helped them out in some way. Its not needed but it sure feels rewarding enough and puts a smile on my face.

I once got a 67 Chevy pickup, in good shape, i loved that truck, but my brother caught it on fire. Best gift though, was a zippo lighter. Nothing fancy, but the girl who gave it to me was very special, and it meant alot from her, next best was my copy of NWN's. Starting to sound like CB, lol, but i love that game.

Not to sound like a sap but being a father ranks up there with being the best gift. And before Sydney. I would have to say.... my first car a 1965 ford falcon that got me around the town.

Our second son Thomas was born on my(now our) birthday in 95... I told my wife that'd be a tough one to beat.
