Well now I've noticed this problem, and now it is really starting to piss me off. First off, it isn't just with Morrowind. It is with every friggin game I have.
Every time I load up Morrowind, it resets my preferences back to the default. It does the same with the Construction set (which is now even more annoying since I use it 24/7). It resets my NWN preferences also. But it doesn't do that with windows 98, which I also have on another comp which I use also. So what is it with windows XP that makes it constantly resets myh preferences? |

Had no problems like this with either version of XP, and I've been playing for a long time with both.

IT sounds like somehow your settings aren't saved into their repective files. Usually these are .ini files I believe. Check out if something is wrong with those.

You are probably using a restricted login. Try a user with full admin rights.

Ok, that might work. My account is a restricted login, I can't use certain things because of administrive properites. I thought about it, but ignored the possibility.

I dont think many people had a problem. It was almost definately the rights of your user, or M$ working it's destructive magic again.
