I keep getting this message:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ironworksforum\ubb\noncgi\cache-ECQOC5PU\ubb_files\forums\Forum10\007490.cgi on line 905

when trying to load certain threads and they cut off about 1/2 way through with the message at the bottom. Any one know if this is my problem or not? And what can be done from my end (if anything)?

Apparently if you hit refresh a few times you will get the whole thread - it only happened to me once, that was at work where we have ISDN but are on a proxy server with a gazillion firewalls - it makes my home dial-up connection seem lightning fast

Its a problem with many many fora. It is surprising to see it happen on IW though, as it uses UBB... the other fora I have noticed it on use YaBB SE. On the silver river and everspoon, I have only ever had it when trying to post while using more then 1 URL code. I believe it has something to do with source files, and that there are patches out there to fix it... but apparently, the patches override the Extra smilies.

heh... I'll be lucky if I EVER find a local ISDN server

hm... either: do more tweaking a bit... or shorten the messages per page

I don't really understand what you wrote Glorfindel. Could you amplify please? (Namely the "u". What do you mean when you write "u"?)
