In the Crooked crane tavern in the City gates district in Athkatla behind the hidden door there is a Lich as many of you guys know. Now I walked my party in and had the following happen to me.
My main character walks in and makes sure his protections are gone, this included having to survive meteor storm and a Pit Fiend. After that I walked my main character outside of the little room. The Lich followed me out and we beat the crap out of him. Now when I walked into the room to open the chest in the back he was still there. So I walk out again and he follows me again and we kill him AGAIN. He's worth 22,000 XP so that was a nice treat. I thought this was a simple bug, but when I walked into the room he was STILL in there. After repeating the process a couple times I got bored and killed him inside the room finishing him off forgood. I've had this happen with other enemies as well... |

I've noticed in the ToB forum that your game wasn't patched with the ToB patch, and wasn't Baldurdashed.
Now that these (I believe) have been installed, you shouldn't have this 'bug'. |

Too bad, on the other hand... having strong enemies duplicate endlessly is somewhat bothersome as well...

it happened to me with some wizard in the docks, although i eveutally had about 6 of him on each level of a building, which made it a bit difficult for my low level party. the official patch seemed to fix the problem, as i haven't noticed it happen again.
