So ppls hu do u's like the best out of all the characters in the game?
I like my charcatcer obviously!!!

Hmmmm, hard to tell. Here are my favourites:

best character: Jaheira
most effective: Keldorn(cause he can wield Carsomyr)
funniest char: Jan, then Minsc - the big fella is more like...insane
most annoying: Nalia - by the way, try my "Nalia hate thread"
best side quest: Keldorn
coolness award: Valygar
best spellcaster: Anomen - he reaches the highest levels faster than the others, somehow
most flexible: Aerie - can cast spells(mage&cleric), use heavy armor and use the flail of ages or crom faeyr

Best Character: My Sorcerer! Just kidding, I would have to say Jan, Minsc or Aerie.
Most Annoying: Nalia
Most Useless: Nalia
Funniest: Jan/Minsc
Most Whining: Aerie(Like we care about her stupid wings! I hope we can get her wings back in ToB so we won't have to listen to her stupid whining)
Most B*tchy:Jaheira
Mightiest In HTH Combat: Boo The Miniature Giant Space Hamster
Best Spellcaster: My Sorcerer, but besides him, Aerie/Jan/Edwin
Coolest Side Quest: Valygar
Coolest Looking: Jan with Archmagi Robe, if you keep his original colours of course.

I just wanted to let you know that Aerie does not complain about her wings once you listen to her storyHear her out and she won't complain anymore! At least she has not done so with my party, but she has been my love interest so I don't know if that makes a difference?

Well I am still way early in the game.... like beginning of Chapter 2 (urrggg! deleted a bunch of saves last night while I was half asleep!)

Anywho, so far I think Minsc is the man. Now sure there may be better fighters to choose, but my character is a pretty strong Paladin Imported over from BG 1 so Minsc works just fine. What makes Minsc so cool is is his dialogue. My god, when I heard him say the phrase "Den of Stinkin Evil" for the first time I about fell outta my chair.

Best Character: Korgan. He's the only NPC that can legitimately (without exp. cap) gain grand mastery in Hammers, making him especially brutal with Crom Faeyr.
Most Annoying: Aerie
Most Useless: Aerie (I haaaate multi-classed chars) Nalia is better in almost every regard.
Funniest: Edwin
Most Whining: Aerie. Even if I play a good party, the first time I hear that stutter, she's gone.
Worst to Romance: Aerie. UUUURRRRGGG! I hate that whiny stutter! Why didn't her masters cut out her tongue along with her wings!
Mightiest In Melee Combat: Korgan. He is a monster at high levels.
Best Spellcaster: Edwin. No contest.
Best Thief: Yoshimo. I consider Jan to be baggage. Low hps and multi-classed = lots of deaths.
Most Attractive Female: Tough call between Jaheira and Viconia. I'd go with Viconia, since she got much better looking since BG1. Anyone remember her portrait in BG1? Ewe, she looked like a decrepid witch!
