Item editing

I would like to make my own pseudo familiar based on Drizzts Panther idol and the moondog idol in the game. Can someone tell me how to edit or create items? Do you use shadowkeeper? If so how?

I don't think you use ShadowKeeper to customize (edit/create) your items.

Another one you can use is Infinity Engine Editor Pro. You can download it either at

TeamBG - go to the tools for developers section

or

The Programming Mind of TL

You can use Shadowkeeper to pick an item eg. the moondog idol or the golden lion figurine and export it to your override folder. Then open it up using IEEP and make your changes, ONE at a time so it's easy to correct errors. Each time you save it needs to be under a separate name, as for some reason IEEP doesn't overwrite your original file when you save.
