Possible book spoilers for those who have yet to read them.
` ` ` ` ` The movies were great, but they had Frodo leaving 20 years too early. Then they hobbits didn't go to crickhollow (I think that's what the little cottage was called) They were supposed to go through the old forest, but didn't. They should have met with Tom Bombadil in said forest and have their backsides saved by him one more time after that in the Barrow Downs, which if I recall properly they never even came across. Oh yeah, forgot, they were also supposed to have had dinner at the farmer Maggot's place. Worst yet, Arwen never rode out to find them. That was supposed to be Glorifindel. Arwen should also not have been glowing to Frodo. That only happens with the elves who have been to the high elven lands. Too many inconsistancies. Good movies though. Better books. P.S. on a side note: Cloud, your post smells like spam, but I have a cold right now so I can't be sure. Just to be safe try and keep things more or less on topic. And for those more picky than even me, a little more tasteful. That's just dirty, and many J.R.R. Tolkein fans out there would have run you through with their own Sting replica's for that.
