Well, I don't know how my definition of spam relates to the general definition of it, but....
IMO, what Cloudy does is not spam. Well, she used to but the last several months, most posts had actual relevance or content. What I consider spam, and therefore annoying, is posts that lack any purpose, just pure drivel, meaningless stuff, MSN-type stuff, that sort of thing.
Also when you want to know who spams a lot post count doesn't really come into it. Posts-per-day ratio reveals the true spammer.

Uh, oh, Kaltia. Are your ears burning? Mouse, your first post was hilarious. BTW, I agree, Mel, I seldom see Cloudy spam, even by the most lenient definition. Certain blonde Drow Cafe dwellers, however...

I wasn't talking about anyone in particular Attalus, even if you recognised your own thoughts about Kaltia in my post.
Seriously, I am just talking spam in general. To be completely honest there are times when I don't even know who the current spammers are, simply because I avoid the threads they're in. I've been on this forum for over two years and seen plenty of spammers come and go ( always like the going part best ) Right now it's kind of calm by my standards (no, that's not a carte blanche ), I've seen the board overrun with the most mindless of spam in the past. Nowadays, if you avoid Cloudy's Cafe it's not too bad

So basically you are saying that....in a nutshell. Cloudys cafe is not overrun with intuitive, intellectual, thought provoking discussion?

Ouch, Mel, that smarts. True enough, though. I try and keep it to a dull roar in Cloudy's, and Kaltia is doing better, these days. We do manage to have some intelligent conversations in there, at whiles.
