Is there any way to have more than the four saves that you are allotted in the game. CAUTION! If you try to explain to me, I need detailed instructions because I am technologically challenged!

Thanks!

I don't understand, four saves? Can't you scroll down if you have more than four saves? You should be able to...

Easy - plain English right?

Sure

When you save it's in a folder called save located at this address:

C:\Program Files\Black Isle\BG2\Save

(*NOTE* - Don't confuse this with the multiplayer-save folder = "MPSAVE")

Using Windows explorer and clicking through the relevant folders
- Program Files
- Black Isle
- BG2

You'll find the save file - then it's just a case of backing it up onto a floppy disk or a similar storage device.

You can do this with as many games as you want! (but never have more that FOUR in the "save" folder)

Delete the games that you don't want - and drag the saved folders (on the floppy disk) into the "save" folder and presto! You can load em like you usually do!

Remember: No more than 4 in the save folder (never had more than 4 - but to just be on the safe side, and avoid any clashes)

Got That?

I still don't understand, why can't you have more than 4 saved games?

Aurican: You only have 4 save slots. I was wanting to know how I could do more saves than the 4 slots we have. (Why do I feel like I am not explaining myself very well?)

I don't know whether you can save more thn 4 times or not, but the screen shows four places which yoyu can save at. (on the loading screen)

So I guess if you wanted to save more - it'll have to be on a separate thing - like a floppy disk.

(Oh Reeka! You can save it into a folder on your hard drive (C:\) instead!)

Maybe, you can have more than 4 save files - which is a good thing. But personally if you CAN then the loading screen (where you choose the game you want to load) will obviously take longer = which is still a bad thing too.

Someone should try this out and confirm it to me. (just keep saving your game till you fill out the original 4 slots = then start saving some more and see if you can do it)

If not, and you're in Reeka's situation....the best option is to back it up like I've suggested above!
