Hello great people. Long time lurker, first time poster so here goes.
I have IWD, HoW and Trials of the Luremaster downloaded. Here's my question. Can I install all three of them and still start a brand new game? I know you can with HoW installed, but I'm not sure about ToL. Thanks. Theo ------------------ The Ramblings of Theoran |

Welcome aboard! This is a great, friendly place. Go ahead and install all three but make sure you patch HoW. Also, there is a certain order you must play these three in order to get to play them out in full. If you want more info on the order let me know. Have fun with your new game.

I would believe that I understand the order. IWD then HoW and then lastly ToL.
Digging deeper into the question now. Should I install IWD then the IWD patch then HoW then the How patch and then lastly install ToL? Or does HoW already have the IWD patch already in it? When playing ToL do you need the file burned onto a CD or does ToL only require the HoW CD in the CDROM while playing? Please forgive all the questions. I know plenty about computers, but only recently have I become a gammer. Thanks. ------------------ The Ramblings of Theoran |

I believe that ToTLM has all the current patches for IWD and HOW added in. Another thing i've noticed; an experience cap remover. It only benefits multiclassed characters though; allowing them to reach 30th level in each class!

You only need the HOW cd after you installed the ToL.
Install steps: 1. IWD 2. HOW 3. ToL (includes all the patches like Leafy said) If you are anal like me you can go this route for installing: 1. IWD 2. IWD patch 1.06 3. HOW 4. HOW patch 1.41 5. ToL It seems like overkill and probably is, good luck! ------------------ |
