No, I am not even sure if you caan catch him to kill him. You will (so others have posted) meet him later in his lair when he will acknowledge you caught him and give you his treasure thus completing the quest.

You guys killed a leprechaun? A cute little leprechaun? Oh, I am sure not even Mussy would be so trecherous. Pick his pocket perhaps. I can't believe you killed him! No more four-leafed clovers for you! Well, I shall reserve judgement until I see just how annoying this fellow is. Since Mussy did kill Raskalion while the others backs were turned, I guess she can't exactly critcise, can she? Oh, and she stole from the Stout King. And from a blind fellow. Never mind, I'll shut up now!

Apparently killing him is no hindrance to getting the treasure later. Well so I have been told, and I am hoping that's right cos I smoked the little pest as well.

Don't kill the leprechaun!!!!

Other than getting major bad karma (hehe, not really), it corrupts the Thief guild quest. You won't advance further in the guild, as I found out last time through. *sigh*. Oh, well, I'm in the middle of the second game through, and doing a lot better than the first time around.

Thanks, Sazerac!!! The Paladin is whistling "Always Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide" and Mussy is like "WHATEVER".
