Kaz arched her eyebrow at Maverick. "If you don't want help?" She mentally ran through her spells... another chaos sounded good. Or, of course, magic missiles to slow the assassins...

Neb prepared to cast a Wyvern Call spell, but he was going to let the elf charge in first since he seemed so overconfident.

Deiter heard Larry yelling and turned to see his friend getting pounded on. Before he could go help, the guards came and took him away."Damn..." He was about to go out and try to get him free when Mistral came in quickly and ran back out. Looks like she's got it handled... But just to make sure he went outside to check. Before he was even two feet away from the tavern Mistral comes back in carring Larry and some elf followed them in.

IC: Sephi sees one of the people that had entered just before Larry come into the tavern. Keeping his eye on him, Sephi quickly peers into the door he was guarding. He saw Larry and the woman he was with last night, both fully conscious and talking, even though he couldn't hear, and barely cared, what they were saying.
He tried to get up, and realized that he had been awake the whole night! Small cups of coffee lined the area around him, but he hardly cared. He checked his money pouch, and was content to see that he still had 1400 gold. That ought to last me a while...

Deiter looked over at the elf that was guarding the door that Mistral had took Larry into. The ranger walked over to the unknown person and stoped a few paces back."How are they doing?"

Three men come slamming into the hallway, looking apparently for a particular room. They see two men standing near one door, read the number on the door, and realize they have found their person.

note...these men are hired mercenaries, probably near or a little under Spehi's level of Exp.

Hey, you two...stand aside whilst we go pay a little visit to the one called Larry. Our boss says Larry threw his brother through a wall, breaking his bloody legs and one arm in a tavern last night. We are here to set things straight with the bloke.

~In all the commotion she shakes her head.~ "I came here to relax damnit!" ~She follows up the stairs shortly after Deiter, peering at three men surrounding him. She walks up from behind and taps one on the shoulder.~ "Problem gentle-men?" ~Her blue-grey eyes meet Deiter's wearily before the man turns about.~
