The girl we like...

We, like a girl, she's very quiet, very nice (to us anyways), and very pretty, We've brought her up before, you might not remember it but we did, well, today we attempted to ask her to be our girl friend again, and we choked, what are we doing wrong? We feel that we may be running out of time, cause we've heard from a source, that she has another guy trying to hook up with her, who's choked also, so, could you guys please give us some pointers?

Ummm.... first quit using the royal plural unless you've got a straight jacket to go with it.

Second, he who hesitates is lost. Just do it, already. At least you'll know one way or another.

You know, though, it doesn't have to be overt. I've found that women would much rather fall into your arms for a bit *before* defining your relationship with each other. When they think something serious is beginning, you'll know. I guess I'm saying that the right actions are much better than the right words, and that a proper combination of both is essential. We are of one being, we are not multiple beings as you may believe, but, we do know that she is single, and that she has another admirer, and if we want her, we should find our way to our senses, it will not be an easy task, but we do believe we will have found our way back by tomorrow, we do plan on asking her tomorrow...

What we are asking is what question should we use to ask her to be our girl friend, should we just ask her with the normal man's question?, "Will you be my girlfriend?" We are uncertain on what to ask, so we are having trouble asking her for that reason also...

It does not matter if you "call" yourself boyfriend / girlfriend or not, as the reality of your feelings, acts, and shared intimacies will certainly be primary. If you and her are b/g because you asked her to be you g-friend, and the other guy comes along and she (for instance) kisses him - does it matter what you called yourself?

But, if you insist, I think the appropriate line is "Will you go with me?"
