Dan Simmons
Has anyone read the works of Dan Simmons? I've picked up Endymion (which is the wrong book to start with, but still..) a while ago, and found that his writting is magnetic. His characters really come to life and you just can't stop reading. It also helps that the world he paints is rich and unique. Definately worth trying.

Re: Dan Simmons
Yo Velkyn,
I've read: Hyperion The Fall of Hyperion Endymion The Rise of Endymion And they were all very good. They are all part of one series. I've got Ilium on the shelf and i've yet to read it... but anyways I will finish Fagle's translation of Iliad and Odyssey before starting it. |
