How do you use MSN Chat

Several times people have said go over to MSN and lets talk. However I never can locate anyone when I go there. Even using the msn name from profiles at IW and the search function at MSN I cannot connect. What am I doing wrong.

Have you found the option to "add contacts"..?
When/if you have, add by e-mail address. Mine is alaina_sparks@hotmail.com .

i have had MSN for a couple of days,and I would likr to know a thing. Is it possible to for example 3 people talk at the same time,so that everyone sees what everyone says? :ponder:

we found the new limit in an MSN window is 15

Kaltia's correct antryg.

You have to Add Contacts first before you can find out Who's Online. Click on the "Add a Contact" button and THEN type in the MSN ID. This will cause a "Pop-Up box" to appear on that person's screen with a message that says something like....

"antryg has just added you to his list of contacts. Allow antryg to see when you are Online? Yes __ No ___"

That's just a rough paraphrasing of the actual message, but you will see the same box on your screen when others add you to thier Contact List.

yea that is insane though it was hard at time just keeping up with everyone [img]tongue.gif[/img] to add another person to a chat just click the invite someone to this conversation bullet on the right of the msn box.

Is the add contact in Hotmail or Chat. I can't find it anywhere in chat.

Antryg, to use the IDs in profiles you need to download MSN Messanger, rather tha going through the chatrooms. [img]smile.gif[/img]
