Anyhoo, the meaning of the Drow word vith might simply be a literal translation of the word "Critical," since Viconia says "Vith'os!" on a Critical Hit, and "Vith'ir!" on a Critical Miss.

Got a translation of vith'ir. It a contraction of Vith Tir, where Vith is obscene and Tir is "off"
