Umm, you have to sign up to the site and log in to read this article....at least that's what it's asking me to do. I declined.
What's the gist of the article?

The gist of it is that there's a handheld game where you have to drop bombs on planes flying into the twin towers. It's about a year old already and sells for $6 and up, and one family was outraged to find it priced $5.

Here's hoping that the manufacturer is found and given a clubbing.

On the other hand, its just a game and you can tell that the makers will enjoy the publicity. They should waste ink on this stuff, its too trivial for words.

So you're telling em that WW2 vets shouldn't be offended if they made the Chinpokomon video game from South Park (bombing Pearl Harbor) or that a "Surf the Tsunami, Dec '04" game would be a good idea?
The game is in poor taste, and it's offensive. |

Terrible.
Video games have always been an escape. Any relation to real life history shouldn't be there, including the WWII games. [ 06-02-2005, 05:23 PM: Message edited by: krunchyfrogg ]
