Why do we need to get home work? Dont school take up enough of our time as it is? (being 6 and a half hours a day, 5 days a week) with out taking up our home time as well, our social time, where we can go after a hard days work.

But dammed school take the social and rest time away from us with essays essays essays. I get really angry with this matter, and i believe somthing should be done about it.

If anyone else has any feelings on this subject than please add them to this topic, id like the re-asurence that it aint just me alone

Yeah I know what you´re talking about. Teachers seem to think that students rather study than go out.

Actually it's not as bad as you may think. I work seven days a week, twelve hours on Thursday and Friday and plenty of overtime on top as I have to check stock, make repairs or upgrades and re-stock the shop afterwards.
Next to that school seems like a breeze so no matter how harsh it may seem now, enjoy it while you can!

My chemistry teacher pointed out the fact that by assigning homework, teachers are encouraging students that it is OK to take your work home. Shame, shame

I think he found Utnapishtim after some fun adventures, including the obligatory flood incident (or was that on the way home? ), and even got the secret to eternal life but lost it when he set it down when he went for a swim at the oasis after being told not to ever let go of it. I think coincidently (or probably not ) it was stolen by a serpent, much like Adam and Eve were foiled by a serpent.

At least that's what I remember from reading some of it a few years ago
