Twice you've asked me questions and I've had to run off with no explanation. Sorry about that, the last few days have been pretty screwed up. On Friday afternoon, I found out my company is laying off "some" people. No hard numbers yet, but it looks like about 10% to 15% of our folks are getting the axe. Long story, but essentially more fallout from the attack at the WTC. In the tradition of "panic first, think later - or not at all" The Corporate Demigods have also decided to cut off all internet access that isn't directly company business, and are installing spyware this weekend to monitor all us little worker bees.
So for now, most of my correspondence will be either very spotty, or only on the weekends. I will try to find some good links to Wiccan & Pagan sites on the net for Conan & whoever else might be interested.
Bright blessings on you and yours, I'm off to bed.

P.S. Please let Silver Cheetah know what's up, will you? No clue if I'll be back before next weekend. Thanks.
I may be able to post during the week if I can figure out how to connect without being sussed.

No problem, hon. I fully understand. We spent two weeks around here holding our collective breath to see if the axe was going to fall on us. I can wholeheartedly understand your position. We escaped distaster by only a hair's breadth.

Hope all goes well for you. I will pass along the message to SC (if she hasn't already seen it). And hope to 'see' you on the weekend. You will be missed.

Take care.

Absynthe, I am very sorry to hear about the tense situation at your workplace at the moment: I'd feel mightily uncomfortable in such a setting as well. And it is a shame that that is likely to limit your ability to come here in the near future - for yourself but also for us as I've always thought that you are great asset to this forum !

Now, Miss DragonMage, speaking of "assets" ...

Tsk, tsk, but my Southern Belle, if I really made up my mind what would we be left with to play with ?

And btw, maybe I want both - in any "combination" ...

OK. I take it back. 'Evil' is not the appropriate word for you...Try these:

Devious
Designing
Wily
Cunning
Sly

Better??? Hmm? (There - a combination of both.)
