Thank you. I knew there was a reason I can't stand rap. Thanks for explaining it to me. And it is hard for me to listen to the lyrics when I don't listen to rap. If I want to hear chittering ( ) I can just as well listen to Jackie or my little sis.
Ah, chittering. A good word for what they do.

I'll give you a few more hours to put the record straight, or you "rap" fans will have to hang your head in shame

And woe betide anyone that meets this man, as I have had the privlige too, and not show him respect. He had quite a way of *beating* people into submission

got the answer yet?
Mahalia Jackson? Oh dear what a deadly insult to her music.

Aw don't take it to heart, Will I just get fed up of people dissing a genre which contains some of the funkiest and most energetic and also some of the most deep and touching tracks I've heard. It doesn't help the situation that every person who I've heard dissing it so far, knows almost none of the IMO best tracks because all they've heard are the songs released onto radio.

Elton John??

I guess he (the one you mean) does fit the mold, especially since all rappers spend half their time talking about how awesome they are and a quarter of their time talking about how the other guy sucks.

So it's Will Smith, right?
