Now if you don't mind, I promised someone else that I would say no more about President Bush so I would appreciate it if I am no longer quoted and badgered for the way I feel.

I know Nachtrafe supports Bush, I know this from our initial meeting at MH.
Just because he does, does not mean that he or you should demand that I do.

I agreed to set my feelings aside prior to Nachtrafe even posting here and I didn't appreciate Nachtrafe coming back after the fact and quoting Majik's post getting on my case for it, praising him and telling all of us what we should do when I had already made my apology and my promise to remain quiet about it.

In spite of my post appearing after Nachtrafe's NOW, it WAS right up at the top of this page but was screwing up the thread on my end and because of it I could not read any posts beyond it so I deleted it and reposted it only to see when the page loaded, what Nachtrafe had said...I hope I have made myself clear, I would hate it if I am yet again forced to repeat myself over and over on this board because people refuse to have any respect for my feelings, my point of view and what I try to say that gets twisted because people want to play mean.

I'll leave first. I am really tired of it and this is not the day for it.

I am just as deserving of respect as those who support Bush and want nothing derogatory said in regard to him.
Please respect my promise to MajiK and leave me alone on this issue until a more appropriate day for me to be allowed to voice my opinion without angering others with them.

Thank you.

I love you too.

Actually Moni, my initial comment was directed at the thread at large. I just reread it, and I dont see where I referred to you specifically. I guess I should have deleted the first paragraph of Magik's post, as the second paragraph was the only part I was referring to.

And just for the record. This is *NOT* about George Bush! This is about the President of the United States of America! If it was Slick Willy, or Treestump Gore, I'd be supporting them 110%! I hate both of those men with a deep and abiding passion, but in a time like this, I would remember who, or more importantly, *WHAT* they are. That, and only that, is what I am saying when I say people need to lay off!

Can I ask a question, seperate from this thread? Why do you seem so bent on taking personal offense at every comment that disagrees with you? I have not made a single post on this board that was insulting or disparaging of you. Nor did I at MH. Yet you constantly react as thought personally attacked. We have both agreed and disagreed, but we have never argued. I honestly dont understand.

Ok thanks for clearing the love thing up Moni, and I guess I just don't know how to interpret your posts correctly. I have just noticed what appeared to me to be hatred, guess I read it wrong. It is one of the limitations of this medium that I can't see your face while you are saying what you write..so I just paste this general sneer onto a manikins head in my mind since I don't know what you look like or evidently what emmotions you are putting into your writng..the fault is mine.

Maybe it's because you won't stop harping on her. Why don't you just not say anything to her...or are you motivated to for reasons your not telling? She IS being personally attacked when people tell her she is NOT ALLOWED to not support Mr. Bush. I personally still don't think he won the elcection and was picked by the supreme court...but that's a dead horse. Last time I checked this country allowed it's people to voice their opinon...that's one thing that makes it great.

Khan...I have never once personally attacked Moni. And to be honest, I haven't really noticed anyone else doing it either.

And again, I reiterate...This in not about George Bush, or his popularity, or the election debacle. This is about the President of the United States responding to a threat to national security. Period!

You should have read everything you were quoting then and removed the paragraph that did not pertain to what you were supporting.

No you have not "personally" attacked me but arguing my point of view about our president on a day like to day is beyond being uncalled for.

If you would bend over backwards to support Clinton or Gore when you despise them, that is your weakness. I don't have to be that way.

Nachtrafe, why do defend Bush so much? Is he a friend of yours? You make it sound as if we have no choice but to rally around him...I for one am more worried about the ppl that lost their mothers and fathers and children...then what someone thinks about Mr. Bush. Evidently that is not the case with you. Why is that?

This thread is about the president, not the children, mothers and fathers. There are two other threads about those who are lost. That is why he is not mentioning them. Just because he is staying on topic, it doesn't mean that he is placing importance on one more then another. Saying that he thinks the president is more important then the lost mothers and children is an assumption that you made, not him. Your point has no validity.

Also, Nachtrafe has clearly stated that he is not defending Bush, he is defending the President of the United States. He is paying respect to the title not the man. That point is invalid as well.

Khan, maybe because it is the only decent thing to do in the face of a national attack. It is the RIGHT thing to do , to rally behind the duly elected leaders of your country in the times of this kind of event. It might also have to do with the fact that People disparage a man they don't know, they make personal judgemnts on someone they have no knowledge of, and it might be in his nature to try and set right a precieved injustice...but those are just guesses.

Just out of curiosity Khan how old are you? Ever been through this kind of tragedy before??

At long last we agree on something my friend!! I knew this would happen one day. I just wish it could be under more enjoyable circumstances.
