Does anyone know wether it is possible to go back into Athkatla to buy potions ´n stuff without getting the Helm knights after me for the slaying in Windespear Hills or am I just gonna tuff the vampires, orcs etc. AND the dragon in the end or WHAT.
The Geenies in the search of the dragonslayer are pretty tuff...does anybody have a good tip or two for beating them down. |

Just continue in the dungeon, it's not worth the trouble heading back to town. Just be more prepare next time (now that you know). If you have a cleric in party, use him/her. Worst come to worst, the item code for potion of extra healing is POTN52. As for the genies, charge and force attack them before they talk (and get the fire shield on).

SPOILERS
/ / / / / / / / / / Genie's are pretty tough, but shouldn't be for a full size party. My method is to send a fire elemental against them. They can hurt the genie, but the genie fire can't hurt the elemental. I cleared out ALL the genies with only 1 fire elemental. If you don't have a fire elemental, Hit them full speed before they get their defenses up. They aren't too hard to kill, But once they put up a fire shield, use a fire blast, etc they start to do damage. You shouldn't have a problem taking them down with a full attack. As for the Undead in the dungon, a simple protection from undead scroll will allow your best fighter to kill all the undead you run against with no problem. Send him to kill them, and your other members can chat amongst themselves while your warrior slays the entire undead legion. Greater werewolves, those are tough. You have to hit it with EVERYTHING to damage it enough. Also again I used a Fire elemental to help me out. The 2nd time through the game I couldn't kill them no matter how I tried, so I had to Mass invisible past them. SO on the genies, go FULL ATTACK, don't worry about defensive spells, worry about offensive ones. Haste, giant strength potions, speed potions, combat spells, etc. You want to kill them fast before they get defenses going. |

A single fire elemental can single handidly kill the genies as he is totally immune to fire which is their favorite attack by far.
