I have a small question... are the words, pros and cons, in the meaning, good & bad, short for something? or is it just these 2 words... ?


dumb I know but I was asked and am not sure.

from what i know pros and cons are just the good and bad part of somthing, i really don't think there's any full form for them...

I think it is just these two, as "pro" and "con" are actual words in the english dictionary.

they are latin prefixes, like pre and post, used to give the above mentioned meanings to words. Pro and anti are also used, as in hunting.
