Exclamation

Okay your all right, i have indeed started on the wrong foot. I never ever have had the intention of being smug or insulting. I suppose i was just a tad annoyed that i tried to make a greand entrance by talking and getting to know everyone but my vocabulary was insulted and i was shocked but oh well.

So once again i apologize.

A term that does not get old, "Friend". Very nice, actually made me smile!

Great thing about IW is people are always willing to forgive and forget. I'm not saying you did anything wrong cuz frankly, I haven't a clue what you're referring to but ya know, people get over things and life goes on. A belated welcome to Ironworks!

Joely:

Regarding your use of the word "kid" in a previous topic:

Although I'm 39 years old, I don't mind being called kid, up to a point (you used it far too often in your previous topic, and got annoying to read after just a few posts). However, if, in using the word, you're assuming that everyone here IS a kid (or under 18), then I have a problem with it.

We are of all ages, colors and creeds here, and everyone deserves the common courtesy of being spoken to intelligently, and not dealt with under the assumption that we are all children.

Other than that, welcome to the boards!

Regards,
Michael

heh heh. Nice one 'dude' No need to apologise whatsoever. But I can see where the gesture is coming from, and it's a pretty cool place So right on!

First rule, KIDDO, don't apologize. Say what you mean and mean what you say. If you get a mod-imposed vacation, so be it. Just don't overtly insult or attack us (meaning: any member), and you'll do fine, mate. Welcome and alaverthay.

LoL! Make sure you stick 4500+ posts at least to your name and you'll be a IW-regular in no time!

Welcome
I'd greet you more enthusiastically, but another IW-member who shall not be named here, nearly stole the entire IW-welcome-bandwagon.....

For me, no apology is required. I usually ignore any topic that I deemed "offensive" or "inappropriate".

Even though your topic was not actually offensive, but some of the words and tone used don't sound too kind and I choose to ignore that particular topic instead of posting nasty replies.

Anyway, as long as any of your future topic captures my interest, I would gladly participate; even if you had never apologized.

Peace, dude.
