Hmm what is the best shield to use in the game??
So far I like the Harmony+2 out of all the shields the best I know it dosent have the best AC defense bonuses but its immune to confusion, hold, charm, domination ect... seems to be a powerhouse weapon? Could someone please tell me if I am wrong? And the pro's of con's of all shields out there, including TOB if you wish! Is this the best soloing shield out there? |

Darksteel +4 is the best shield. AC +5 plus some magic resistances.
Also there is Shield of the Order +4. AC +5 Saving throws +1. ------------------ You cannot escape the inevitable. [This message has been edited by Seid (edited 07-23-2001).] |

The saving grace is also pretty decent. It does +5 to AC but no other bonuses...

The shield you're referring to is the Sentinel +4 purchased from one of the merchants by Ust Natha. The saving grace is a quest reward from the Unseeing Eye quest.

Saving Grace is a +3 shield and gives an AC bonus of 4. No special immunities/abilities, though.
Sentinel gives an AC bonus of 5, again no special abilities tho'. ------------------ "Butt-kicking for goodness!" - Minsc "Cities always teem with evil and decay. Let's give it a good shake and SEE WHAT FALLS OUT!!" - Minsc |

Shield of the Order +4. AC bonus of +5 not to mention +1 to all saves. Don't remember where I got it(watchers keep?), but a must use shield.

my vote goes to Darksteel Shield +4 - +5 AC, +10% resistance to fire/cold/acid/poison.
my second choice would be Shield of the Order +4 - +5 AC, +1 to all saving throws ------------------ |
