Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way of editing your character after one already started playing. I was rather hoping one could start a new game, create a ne character, and then somehow combine the look of the new character with the attributes and game progress from the other save. Unfortunatelly I'm not making much sense of the contents of the save files. Is there some proggie that lets you edit them in a way that makes sense?

I believe there are console commands that let you do it and a couple of mods floating around as well. Unfortunately, that's about as much as i can tell you, sorry.

Welcome to IW, blesk.

I don't now if this is what you're looking for but...

To change your character in-game do this:

1. Open the console by pressing "~". If this doesn't work, try some other buttons as it seem to vary with the keyboards.
2a. To change Birthsign, type showbirthsignmenu. Press Enter.
2b. To change race and appearance, type showracemenu. Press Enter.
2c. To change class, type showclassmenu, Press Enter.

Changing class will lower all your skills to that of a level 1 character. Not so bad if you just started, bad if you've played a long time. There's a way around this little problem, but I don't know exactly what it is.
