This might be a patch issue. What are each of you running?

I am running the last patch, 1.2.0722, but I have installed it only last week.
However i clearly remember enchanting my shield for 120k at the mage's guild in Ald Ruhn with a previous version of the game.

In both cases the money I had spent was available to the enchanter for purchasing my items.

Oh, I just checked with the orc in the mage's guild of balmora and her money increases also when I learn spells.

Maybe your version is buggy, Grungi

[Sorry if I repeat myself in two different posts, but I just wanted to reach 49 to change my rank )]
