I'm talking about the mind golems in the Elder Brain's maze in chapter 4. what kinds of strategies work best on these guys? I have a wizard, druid, rogue, a cleric, and 2 paladins.

I found it best to avoid them myself. They give off a fog that seriously lowers your ability to make will saving throws, not a good thing around mind flayers.

They lower wis to 1. They are mean, and evil, but not as tough as other golems. Just bash them, but be sure to scope out the place and see there are no mind flayers around when taking one on.

If you are fast you can get to them before they release the cloud.

Try sneaking a thief to attack them. Once they start fighting they usually don't do the cloud.

Use Animate Undead monsters. The Undead are pretty mindless and can do good damage to the mind golems IIRC.
