...Just wanted to say what Valygar did.
OK ,i cheated a bit and bolstered his wisdom before dualing him to a cleric, but thats beside the point.
In the Elven city i was battling away against golems and such, and i suddenly realised Valygar was missing ,so i double clicked his portrait to find him wasting an Adamantine Golem (Adam Ant!?)all on his own!-with the Flail of ages and nights gift armour. what a star!

Yes, he is, but Korgan is better. Also, I think his armour is better than the night' gift and the shadow dragon scale is even better.

Bearing in mind that Korgan is evil and Valygar is Good so it depends on your party make-up. I never took Valygar (alive) ,but I did like Korgan. Him and Edwin were priceless

I trust you.

And Grand_Ranger about Minsc, yes he is a good fighter, but he must have been lucky to kill Korgan (Minsc critical hit, Korgan critical miss etc). Korgan should be better, he has more hp resist more (he's a dwarf and has con 19), and is grandmaster in axe. Korgan has 3 better THACO. What weapons were you exactly using? If Minsc was using the Holy Avenger, I can almost understand.

I let Minsc and Anomen fight once, and Anomen won easily 3 times out of 4. Of course he used a mace that slows, and Minsc used a two handed sword (Lilarcor). I didn't buff up Anomen or anything. Without the mace he was couldn't stand a chance though.
