I think what 9_1_6 meant was if we use 100% of our brains at ONCE we will be able to move house. Not bloody likely. How does the power of your mind move objects? Do you shoot "Pressure" rays out of your forehead? No. The idea of moving something with your mind alone is very hard to take in, if you think about it.

I was reading up on how to bend spoons with your mind, what you have to do is,put your fingers on the joint of the spoon, breath carmly, fill yourself with fifth force energy, and imagine yourself as the atoms and stuff of the spoon

Or you just visualise your hands bending the spoon and lo' it happens. Like magic!

Well, this is a hilarious and perfectly appropriate response to a discussion taken straight out of a 2nd grade classroom. Thanks, LennonCook.

Just a question... why the hell would you want to bend spoons?
It's too small scale for vandalism... and it just ruins the spoon...
I believe that it's possible... but only when asleep with beer bottles strewn around me

Question Mark

Don't try and bend the spoon, that's impossible. Instead, try to realize that there is no spoon.

There is no spoon.

That is somewhat of a myth. We use what brain we have to at a given time. You don't use the motor control portion of the brain that controls the legs much if you're sitting down. Most of the brain is used for unconscious activities. The intelligent interface we call the "Conscious mind" doesn't take up the whole brain. I'm sure we have some spare grey matter, but I doubt it's 90% of the brains mass. Your brain can improve with use too. That's why people who try hard to learn, tend to learn easier.
