After you have destroyed the lich, go back and talk to the ghost (Nordin?) - you'll find the key the the door in the statue

There's no need to shout, Fiery Death Penguin.

I believe the statue that Ar-Cunin was referring to is found at the staircase where your party first met the dwarven ghost Nolinor. He was the one who told you about the lich. The statue is the large structure between the wings of the staircase. Once the forge is reactivated and you speak with Nolinor after destroying the lich, check that statue for a door which will have a key and some treasure.

You might want to refer to the walkthrough at the IW Icewind Dale site. Here is the url to the page about Dorn's Deep:

http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/icew...chapter4.shtml

This screenshot shows you the statue: http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/icew...nsdeep_02c.jpg

I trust that this is the information you needed.

When you say that you killed the lich where he was do you mean that you killed him in melee combat?

The lich must be destroyed by bringing his phylactery into one of the other tombs. Have you done this?

I'm assuming you have entered the Hall of Heroes -- the second area where you must fight the lich -- which is where you would have obtained the phylactery. You need to take the phylactery to Jamoth's tomb in order to destroy it. This is the second tomb on the right side of the chamber as move upward from the entrance.

I may have remembered incorrectly. Read the inscription on the statue in front of the tomb, that will tell you for sure. If nothing else - you can always visit both -- the phyalctery will disappear from you rinventory once you enter the correct tomb.
