I can't believe nobody else follows Sluggy Freelance or Schlock Mercenary

Alpha Shade is also worth a look, but the updates are sporadic.

Who doesn't read 8-bit theatre?
Indeed! Which is precisely why it was so shocking that noone had listed it yet

Who doesn't read 8-bit theatre?
Okay, since this was first brought to my attention, I have been reading as many as I could get in each night, and have now successfully caught up after reading all 768 pages.

This is a great comic!

I personally didnt like 8bit theater after a while because it kept repeating itself in its own jokes and quite francly how long can you watch sprites being pasted without it annoying the heck out of you.

A comic that i did like was Squidi - A Modest Destiny
which is an epic pixel comic set in a fantasy setting. the difference between a pixel comic and a sprite comic is that squidi actually made all his characters from scratch and that because of this his characters can actually show bodily movements which are fitting for the situation. It is recommended to check the archives of A Modest Destiny because this is by far the best read. (he also made "The Spaceship Destiny" which was an experiment to set AMD in a scifi setting but it never really get up to the same level as AMD
