Generally if you edit the picture in some sort of graphics program like photoshop, you are able to choose a function called 'resize image' etc... and specify the size either in pixels or standard measurements.

If you have Windows XP, you can use this powertoy. Got this link from a friend at my board.

If you dont have Windows XP, Leonis is right. Get yourself some graphics program and you can usually edit the image properties. If you dont have the money to spend on one of the higher end graphics programs, you can download some at www.tucows.com or www.downloads.com Just be aware that some are shareware, and you do have to pay for those eventually, and some are adware. But there are also some decent freeware ones as well.

$609 according to Adobe.com(if you want the CD...it's only $548.10 if you just want to download it), although you could probably find it cheaper at Amazon or some local retail store.

You might want to try Paint Shop Pro if you only want to do some playing around. It's WAY cheaper than Photoshop(about $100USD).

Yeah, sorry. My wife and her parents are all designers, and I forgot most people can't justify the $$ for it. Cheers Nachtrafe!

Siggy! Wait! Don't go spending money to resize images You can do it through ordinary paint. Open the image, then press image, strectch/skew. (Or press Ctrl + W) you can only do it using percentages but if you look at the actual size of the image you can figure it out. better than spending money.
