No reloads party

I have been having "fun" lately with no reloads parties.

In my first attempt I died from a beholder's Flesh to Stone in Spellhold, in my second in died again from beholders in Underdark.

Here's my third attempt. And I always do different party if I die.
I'm not changing NPC's with SK so here they are:

PC (F/M/T)
Jaheira (F/D)
Mazzy (F)
Solaufein (F/M)
Kelsey (Sorc)

And I am not decided between Anomen (second cleric - Chaotic Commands !) and Haer'Dalis (Blade - I count on HLA's (if I get there ) - Improved Bard song !!!, Spike and Time traps !!!) ?

Any suggestions ?

I see no reason for a second Cleric. Jaheira has CC(Chaotic Commands) so you don`t need Anomen. Altough he can TU(Turn Undead) but Undead are rare. I am talking about Liches herer not Vampires and other undead/demonic creatures.
Hear`Dalis. Bard. A Blade to be precise. He is the best support character,he get`s Thief HLA`s,he can be a backup Mage,Tank,you name it.
I say go for Hear`Dalis.

ADD]Sounds like you have a real big problem with Beholders Leslie.

Bard HLA 'Enhanced Bard's Song' is the best thing you can get to protect your party... And bards can fight/cast spells WHILE singing (well, its rather difficult, but possible [img]smile.gif[/img] )

Jaheira does have CC, but they are level 5 spell and so are Ironskins, True Sight, Insect Plague, ... and she doesn't have unlimited spells. Wondrous Recall helps but ...

And to turn Liches is very handy since they can be very nasty for big parties.
But it would probably take too looong for Anomen to be able to turn liches.
Any useful Cleric HLA's ?

Blade on the other hand can use Stoneskins, PFMW, Improved Haste, Spell Immunity !, ...
I would have him use Crossbow of Speed and shoot Kuo-toa paralytic bolts.

Still undecided ...

• Storm Of Vengance
• Summon (Fallen) Deva
• Mass Raise Dead

Something I missed?


ADD]The Blade will benefit greatly from the Ring of Acuity as it means an extra 2 Mirror Images, 1 Melf's Minute Meteors and 1 Stoneskin.
