Didn't Ziroc try to do this last October, and everybody lost interest? We can't go, because we'll be cleaning up the back yard.

That sounds like a great idea Vask but think of the logistical problems. I mean, we're okay, but think how long it will take the Americans to get their passports organised!

It is a tuff call for all of us to do me think's due to age's, lack of transportation, and countless other reasons. If it can be done, I think it will need to be done in two groups, the European's and the North Americans so to speak. Travel is very costly I would love to be in attendence though, my wife may not be in agreement

It wasn't for lack of interest..it was because Ziroc's travel plans changed. He and his family were going to visit family in KY and planned a stopover in Atlanta. A hotel was found that could accomodate the desires and purses of those planning to attend, but Ziroc had to change his plans and the trip was re-scheduled.

I did try to renew interest in an Atlanta get-together for those that had initially responded. THAT was the one that died due to lack of interest and holiday schedule conflicts.

Anywhere near Atlanta is fine with me, that's relatively closer than New York. Like I said, however, it would have to be some time after August 7th.. because that's when I get my license

Lol@ Yorrick!

At least he trys!

Anyway, I fancy London!Or Manchester ideally!

Reprocussions since my car crash mean I can't drive for another four/five (depending on when my collorbone heals!) weeks, and I think I'm getting a new car this week. So, in month or so, maybe then?

New York? I'm down with that. I'd like to go,but my parents would never let me.

I really like this idea. I used to get together in Toronto with some network friends every saturday for breakfast (we called it "the bagel bash" - it was a jewish deli )

It was great fun - unfortunately, since I generally work 6 days a week it would be pretty hard for me to make it to New York. Otherwise, NY would be fine (I used to drive up there every wednesday when I worked for a local audio amplifier company).

May I suggest Toronto? Advantages are plenty:

- Good exchange rate on American funds.
- Friendly atmosphere and crime-free (for the most part) environment.
- Depending on what time of year, there's a LOT to do. See the skydome and the CN Tower!
- Lots of venues and restaurants capable of handling any sized crowd.
- Customs workers won't be looking as hard for terrorists. (gd&r)
- Excellent public transit system.
- My brother lives within walking distance of the airport.
