I have heard that when you are in watchers keep you can avoid one of the fights with the Baatezu or the tanar'ri depending on your alignment but I cannot avoid any of the fights not that I am complaining as I would rather fight anyway and get the experience its just that it is driving me mad
P.S has anyone tried the improved bhaalspawn mods as you are supposed to have a multiple dragon fight in it. Because the game is getting a bit to easy now Level 34 Cavalier STR: 23 DEX: 22 CON: 24 WIS: 20 INT: 12 CHR: 23 (And no I haven't cheated I played through BG1 multiple times collecting the Tomes cause Im just a sad bastard with nothing better to do). |

You could always try speaking with the baatezu. Being lawful in nature, they are more likely to listen to reason; if you can make a deal with them, they will (or should, due to lawful nature) keep their end of the bargain. Assuming there is no way to twist the wording, that is.

Have you tried taking a shower before going to visit?

SPOILERS contained
. . . . . . . . . . I'm fairly certain that this is an "evil" option.. meaning that you have to be evil in order to deal with the demons. In my game I was able to deal with the tanar'ri (and amazingly enough, he actually followed through with his end of the bargain). I'm pretty sure that I would have been able to deal with the baatezu as well. You also get experience by completing the deal - so it isn't as if you completely lose out on the experience by not killing one of them. I've tried - and beaten the game with the improved bhaalspawn mods, and yes there is a multiple dragon fight (what a mess ). If you're interested in a challenge, download and try them, but I'd suggest keeping a backup of the files involved just in case.

Lawful Good characters can't make any deals in that part of WK. Your playing a Paladin kit, therefor your Lawful Good. Your just out of luck.
