Writing more rubbish poetry which he kindly posts here for you to make of what you will

Frustration
-----------

I think therefore I am?
No, I am ergo I think.
Still I'm fixed in space and time,
with ideas beyond the brink.

What I say is no good,
What I do is not enough.
So alone here I'm stood,
And my outlook is rough.

Now my options are few,
So I should grin and bear it.
But then what can I do,
When my voice has no merit?

Ode to the Owed
---------------

How shiny is what you offer,
With lines and gimmicks you proffer.
No worry for the future you say,
Except of how to repay!

Last night I wrote this, so here goes:

I lie here awake and alone,
Thinking of you or anyone.
There's a void here I know,
But that feeling won't go,
Still I lie here awake and alone.

I lie here awake and alone,
As at night it's the worst,
And in the morning too,
Still my mind turns to you,
And I lie here awake and alone.

I lie here awake and alone,
Searching for reasons and answers,
With no solution I know,
and no answers will flow,
So I lie here awake and alone.

Bravo, Sir Tainly! Silly? Nah, but your poems made me a little sad

Hope things are ok with you!

Owed, did make me laugh, though!

Thank you for sharing these with us, Simon: sometimes a reminder that one is not the only one having a hard time is not such a bad thing. Even though I would of course prefer if we could both be united in joy.

And you are a true friend.

Guido

Simon, nice poetry! Sorry it's born of you feeling down though

Hope things start looking up for you soon - they almost always do IMO
