No, I have had no issues with him. Make sure you have the items needed for creation of new items, maybe you put something wrong into the forge. If you are sure that items were correct, then I can't tell what's up. I never had any issues with him, and he keeps cranking items out for me...

one thing I noticed is that he would only make one namarra rapier for me. I haven't tried to make any of the other items.

I've noticed a few bugs with the smiths. One time, I put a suit of magical leather and a gargoyle skull into the chest. He said he couldn't make anything. When I opened the chest, the items were gone. I thought they had vanished, but later noticed them in one of my bags of holding. He refused to make any items after that.

Would a padded armour +2 work for the gargoyle recipe since it is total ac4?
