Tom Bombadil; he was the part I really wanted in the LotR series. LotR did have a small bit of the three trolls. We should see them, only still moving. Gollum will be back, I hope. Balin should be in it too, but again, still alive.. ok. I'm strechin' it a bit.

Hmm come to think of it, the bear-people stake a claim on the treasure in the battle of the 5 armies, so it would be kinda stupid to remove him, that'd almost be a plot breaker.

This is very happy news, I was hoping that evenually this would get made, better by Jackson.

There does seem to be some confusion over who will direct, PJ and Fran Walsh may be the producers not the directors. Fingers crossed on this issue
