finished, but can't go on?SPOILER!

Finally finished- now I can clean my house and get a social life again! Actually, I have had more fun on this board with you folks than any average night out, if only you could dance here also...
OK, what's with this--SPOILER!!

WARNING- IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE GAME ALL THE WAY AT LEAST ONCE, DO NOT READ THIS!!!!!

how come at the end, ellesime is thanking you all over the place, and then tells you that undoubtably you have other things to do, etc.. then you get the cool ending movie, heh, heh, heh, i laughed my *ss off, then the ending credits, then, you have to reload a previously saved game, and cannot continue on from there- Is that the way it works? if so, I'm just going to go back to chap 2 save i kept hanging around for g.p. and do every single flippin quest in the game before going to the asylum, since it's darn near a one way trip from there.- anyone else?

Yes, that's how the game ends (for now). I don't know what is going to happen when the expansion comes out, but it will probably be a continuation on your travels.
