Session After Ragol Saga - The Island . . .

Unlike before, this will not just be a random, put in yoru name an play, i'd like to see some actual Role playing interaction here, if anyone has ever taken interest in playing Phantasy Star online or wants to find out more about it, this is the thread for anyone... even if you arent a part of this forum, I recomend you sign up here and give it a whirl... Before I create any introductions I want characters to sign up... here are the rules for signing up:

*Nothing too gigantic please, I'm saying 9 feet is the limit and that's for androids [img]tongue.gif[/img]

** There are only 3 races, Humans, Newmen, which are like elves, and Androids who have no magic abilities, on a side note: You cannot be an android FORCE

*** Three Classes, Hunters, Rangers, Forces, Huners are the fighters of the group, while rangers deal in long-range weapons and only do close range combat on a rare occasion, Forces are like the Mages, humans and newmans of any class are able to cast spells but ones of the Force class are esppecialy good with them.

**** Starting weapons include the main photon weapon types: Handgun, Saber, or Rod which can be +1 or a rifle, a sword, or a wand without any grinding (that means + anything) if you would prefer... Hunters cannot use rifles just like ranger cannot use swords or wands, but all classes can use handguns machine guns, sabers and haliberds.

It should also be noted that everyone starts with 4 monomates and 4 monofluids along with 1 mag... What are mates and fluids? I will explain:

Monomate - Simple Healing patch for all races, it refills 50 lost HP
Dimate - Stronger healing patch (200 hp regained)
Trimate - Expensive Healing aid, instantly refills all hp no matter how much is lost
Star Atomizor - Heals everyone all hp (costs 5000 mesta a peice)
Moon Atmoizor - Able to revive a dead ally in combat (350 mesta a peice)
Monofluid - Refills TP spent on spell casting 100 TP
Difluid - Stronger TP restore 500 TP
Trifluid - Refills all TP no matter how much TP there is to refill (1000 a peice)

Other Items:

Telepipes (Take you up to the location you were before teleporting down to the surface, to use: Simply brake open, pour the contents in a circle, jump through wormhole... Pipes sold at stores usually warp you to where you ask for it to go, some magical ones can be used to move through other areas of space, as of yet, a telepipe has not been able to last but 24 hours and after 8 uses it pretty much dies, if the person who lays the pipe goes back through it, it automatically closes. They cost 350 mesta a peice and are always available at the Science Station and Pioneer City.)

Disks: These are techniques for forces, Humans, and Newmans to learn using their computers, they fuse magic and technology into a TP-using Technique, once learned they are forever known, they can be learned if the mandatory TP requirement is met. These Techniques include:

Foie: A tiny Fireball
GiFoie: A ring of fire temporariy surrounds the body
RaFoie: Creates a tiny atomic explosion at a focused point
Barta: Creates a tiny stream of ice that can hurt multiple enemies
GiBarta: Can Freeze enemies, makes a small 90 degree blizard in a focused direction
RaBarta: Makes glaciers form around the caster in all directions and freezes
Zonde: A small bolt or cluster of lightening bolts
GiZonde: A wave of lightening that damages some nearby oponents a focused direction
RaZonde: A giant lightening storm flares around for a period of time
Grants: Holy Light Rains out of multiple dimensions around the single target and explode when enought rays have gathered.
Megid: Unholy orb of interdimensional smoke moves through everything in a straight line and has a % of instant death
Anti: Removes all status effects, good and bad (Affects others at level 3+*)
Resta: Replaces the need for Monomates, this spell uses tp to refil HP (*same)
Reverser: This spell makes the affects of death and mortal injury go back to before they happened on a focused target (replaces moon atomizors)
Shifta: Photonic power surrounds the target and increases STR and DEX
Deband: Photonic power surrounds the target and increases DEF and EVP
Jellen: Photonic power surrounds the oponent and decreases STR and DEX
Zaulre: Photonic power surrounds the oponent and decreases DEF and EVP

AND FINALLY!

If you die, you are able to teleport up to the stations/cities medical center via a distress beakon, you will lose all mesta in your pockets in the process however... it used to be that you would also lose your weapon, but new 3rd version rules have stated that only money can be lost because some weapons can take up to 7 hours to obtain...

In the year 2247, the remnants of civilisation amongst the stars found their homeworlds unable to maintain homeostasis. They were dying, losing recources, and something drastic had to be done...

The pioneer project was conceived to take 7 years to travel to a suitable planet found deep within the darkness of uncharted space. The prime planet of choice was an unknown one, orbiting two suns... It was given the name "Ragol"...

Within 7 years time the pioneer 1 arrived and sent signals of its sucess back home... The people began colonizing and exploring the planet, preparing for the arrival of the next group. 7 Years later, the pioneer 2 arrived, with the people on board happily awaiting joining their freinds and relatives who had went before them.

The two reached out their communications beams toward eachother and the first sounds of ragol were projected all over the station...

"AAH MY GOD!" "ITS HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!" "DEATH! DEATH! DEAAAA - "

Radio silence, just then, a shockwave rocked the planets surface and noone knew what to make of it... Ragol fell silent in just a few seconds time, all radio communication aside from a few quiet and desperate signals, beggign for salvation, echoed into the dark sky... The pioneer 1 stayed in orbit, fearing the worst, its greatest scientists baffled, the Principal in charge of the operation was dangling on threads of his sanity, his daughter, the hunter's hero, Red Ring Rico Tyrell was on Pioneer 1, and now she, just as everyone else, had gone missing...

The Military was equally upset, their bravest leader, Heathcliff Flowen, unseen for months as the freelance hunters, forces, and rangers assaulted the surface, and in a years time the Pioneer 2's dome straddled the rich life-filled soils of ragol and deployed a city expansion project. Soon A group of rogue hunters found the source of the bad doings of ragol: THe daughter of Profound Darkness, Dark Falis, Godess of Unholiness... And with their greatest powers they brought down the evil creature, and inadvertanly freed Red Ring Rico from it's symbiotic clutches! it seemed that peace was truley going to become a reality...

Some partso f pioneer 2 stayed in satelite orbit, while others flew about in the upper atmosphere, like floating cities, the most daring were willing to land on the soild and begin farming, the science facility, however, decided to remain the safest distance away, in high-orbit, and record every part of ragol for as long as was possible.

That was until just a few months later... It shifted within teleportation range of the satelite cities and immediatley began broadcasting that it had found SIGNALS comming from uncharted parts of ragol and that they would be willing to hire rogue hunters and military personel to assist them.

The first few able to get to the station in time arrived with a very short line before them, a large section of gates opened up as they were asked to proceed, their physics were scanned and recorded, and then the inquisitian began...

"Step into the light so we can see you..."

Four individuals entered the light...

"You there, in red, what is you're name?"

"Chilli your magestrate..."

"I assume that because you cannot see me yet acknowledge my title that means you are a force, you seem healthy enough... what's with the odd outfit?"

"I like to spice things up..."

"alright alright... Proceed!"

"Next! You The robot..."

"android..." it spoke back darkly with an electic tone...

"What is your name?"

"Deathkiller..."

". . . We have heard of you... are you the same Deathkiller that slayed..."

"yes..."

"But your paint job is differint?"

"I am only a sliver of my formal self, but i bear the red paint to signify the millions of galons of blood which I have seen spilled by my hands..."

"... Do you know what is in store for you?"

"I fear nothing..."

"Nothing?" "I don't think he can be too seriouse about that..."

"There is nothing which I fear..."

"well alright then... Whatever you say... good luck on this mission, we are sure that your... past training... will be usefull for you..."

"thank you..."

"alright NEXT! you the blue and red android..."

Shino stepped into the well-lit center of the science facility...

"hmm looks differint from the last time i saw it..." He peered out of the window with a gleaming occular camera, he then leaned onto the railing and looked out at the stars pasionatley, how they reminded him of the days when this was the only sky he knew but still called Ragol home... the decomisioning of his armor and weapons, hoping to relax... But this was a cause which needed everyone it could get... and those numbers seemed to be a dwindling few...

Chilli walked up next to the robot... "So android.... I am told that you have had past experience on ragol..."

"take this" He said handing the force a frame with four slots...

"and these" He then handed him 4 Preist/Minds to boost his abilities...

"wha-HUH?"

"If you want to fight along side me then you will fight to the best of your ability..." The force nodded... suddenly the two heard the sound of another person warping in and they turned to look...

"Hi there!" The red and blue robot says. He waves at his new companions who stare in disbelief. Shino despite his names meaning, and strange eyes, has always been known for cheer, and use of human gestures. He extends his hand to /)eathkiller.

The two androids shake hands...

"Well pleased to make your aquantence as well," the large android says in return, "say... I just got a brilliant Idea, the three of us are perfectly balanced for eachother..." He then reached into a pocket and slaps a 4 slotted frame with 4 knight/powers...

"Let's do this!" He says, turning toward the ramp leading up to the "official" teleported, guarded by several military men standing in formation with weapons readied...

Shino takes a look at Chili. "Are you always this quiet." He than grabs Chili and leads him to the teleporter like a child. "What kinda force are you?"

they appeared on a catwalk which was hovering in a feild of space surrounded by multi-panneled force feilds, before them an energy walkway lead to a hovering construction of 3 seperate pods and the energy walkway also branged out to the left and right to two doorways which were being guarded by military personell. Scientists were walking bussily to and fro on mid-air it seemed with the force-feild floor, checking read outs, communications and top-secret studies of the Ragol surface. Before them in the very center stood a strongly-built woman in purple with flaming red hair. Beside her was a man wearing a hat with a built in perscription visor, the seat next to her appeared empty but of great importance, to the left of this structure was a glowing holographic map of ragol, to the right, one of the most powerfull computers any of them had ever seen...

"come forward gentlemen" The woman in the center said...

She beckoned them with her hand and the three stepped forward...



"Do You have any questions before the training?"

Assignment NOTHING! you all will have to go through VR training before proving yourselves worth an actual assignment! If you want to begin training the VR chamber is to your left when you turn away from me, going right will result in your banning from this station as that teleporter is off limits to EVERYONE including ourselves!
