While it's not a rule-breaker, it would be nice if you'd keep responses to one post if they are consecutive replies to a single post. I realize we often come up with new responses and just hit reply instead of editing a comment and I've done it myself, so no worries, just try and keep them together if you can.

Hi Cloudy, yes I appreciate the single response protocol. In this case however I was quoting three different posts of Grungi's, from a couple of different pages. As I read a post, I replied. Then I came upon another post, so I replied to it. And so on. No harm intented. Sorry if it was inconvenient to anyone.

and californian accent on average isnt as strong as plenty of other accents. for example as i said before southern accent in england ISNT as strong as a northern accent, that would be accepted by northerners as well, whether you can tell the difference or not isnt in question, but i been to california and plenty of friends from austrailia so im speaking from pretty solid ground as to the accents of both.

and sorry but your an idiot if you think that in your 3rd point frankly, cockney is NOT just an accent its a whole way of speech, most of it is rhyming slang which IS nothing do to with inflection and everything to do with the words, so dont talk about something you know nothing about. Having found out about charly from some others now in pm, it seems hes pretty close to my idea of a hardcore cockney, but still not at the same strength as in lock stock, and its pretty stupid to even argue the point with me until charly watches the film and decides for himself.
Accents are relative. One does not hear ones own accent. So to someone NOT from California or southern England, either accent is strong. To someone from the American South, or Northern England, their own accent is NOT strong. It's all relative.

On the Aussie matter, I am unmoved. I am Australian and lived in Australia for 29 years with time spent in every state except Tasmania, and I can assure you, the New Zealand accent is noticable to us. What more can I say?

Finally, your new point of Cockney being "a whole way of speech" is precisely what I was referring to. It is not a "whole way of writing." You cannot discern an accent from writing.

As a matter of interest, Australian English has it's origins in Cockney.

I do it myself, so does Memnoch on occasion. It depends on when you see a post and whether anyone answers in between sometimes. It's natural to answer as you read things. Hehe, at least you weren't just talking to yourself!

No, no! I was hearing voices! I swear! I was talking to a voice coming from my computer! Honestly! He identified himself as the creator of Ironworks or something! I never spoke to myself! Really!

When I first met Charlie I had a bit of trouble understaning him but you get used to it. I can even understand some of his cockney slang every now and again. Hey Charlie, have you been drilled about this lately?
