2nd time i play this fascinating game, it IS simply the greatest RPG.

I have 2 questions:

1. ZenMaster ? Can someone describe the PRECISE procedure, plz...last game i HAD all tombs but nothing but a teleport to Brimloch

2. Is there any shortcut from Brimloch Roon to Ishad Nīha ?

Thx for helping.

Ahh, one other thing. This time i always changed the professions between level 8 and 10. The prob is, the list only accepts 3 professions - if u enter 4th, he deletes the last one (overwrites). Has anyone tries to make a Paladin on 4th profession ? I have probs with that, Samurai & Warlock f.e. make no prob.

Welcome to The Board,Taski!!!!!

The Greatest Board...and the greatest Game

...Wizards & Warriors...is ...one and the same.

I'm surprised you could stop, after only one time through. It took me 6 or 7, just to slow down.

1. To make Zenmaster...you should go back to Bushi Dojo in Brimloch...as soon as you get the 4th tome. The only reason to wait...would be if you are also trying to get a Valkyrie..

2. As far as a short cut from Brimloch to Ishad N'hahaha...you can use 'Create Portal' on the ledge above Torin....then jump off and walk. On the return trip...teleport to the ledge.

another option...that Bungleau suggested, is to use 2 characters with both spells. Have 1 create a portal at one gate and cast it on themself...and the other do the same at the other gate. I've never tried it...but B, says it works.

and about, the role changes...

1. Don't change your magic users too early,. Make sure they get the high level spells first. After you change rolls...they can only learn spells in the previous school...that are half of their current level.

2. The old roles don't get deleted or overwritten...they just roll of the page. Just like skills...if your not carefull.

Let us know if you have any more questions...

And keep us posted...

Welcome to the boards, Taski. May you find energy and excitement in the Gael Serran to warm your heart in your old age.

Packrat's already given you answers to your questions. To further clarify...

... you get the offer to promote to zenmaster when one character who has all four tomes in their inventory talks to the master of the Bushi dojo. If they're split up among different characters, no dice.

... the rule for portals and teleports is one portal per spellcaster per map area. So you get one portal in Valeia, one in Ishad N'ha, one in Brimloch Roon, one in each dungeon, and so on. If the same caster creates portals on five others, only the last portal remains. I don't know how it works if five casters create portals on the same character -- I suspect it follows the same rule, but I'd be happy to be wrong. I usually let each caster create a portal on themself. Then I don't have to worry about overwriting any of them.

And Packrat, I never thought of simply creating a portal at both places. I'll have to try that sometime soon... thanks!

* edited to add the rest of the rule on portals *

Very nice answers

I just completed Anephasī temple, killing all monsters including both dragons, 3 scorpions and 5-7 Guardians...nice exp down there, as always.

And finally i found that ring for the Leprechaun-Quest, last time i thought the stick was the answer and the quest failed...Stout Mines this time ALL EXPLORED and Assassin-Quest finished.

Thx for Portal and Teleport-Hints, it is a little bit strange in this game, i prefer the Diablo-Teleport-Scheme.

Ah, yes, 2 other questions:

1. ToothHide to pirate: He donīt accept it...but it is not important, isnīt it?
2. I killed GINELENG and the mayor did not say, that i fulfilled the quest. Did Gineleng drop something special, that i may have sold ?

Ok guys, off to bed with me...6 oīclock am here in germany.

Great Game, much fun...i have to build an altar for Mr. Bradley.

GreetZ

G'day Taski,
Welcome to the forum. If you find you like it vote for it in the "most popular forum" thread in "user created polls".
I dont remember the name Gineleng, but a lot of npc's do drop items that are needed. The centaur that Lionheart is referring to drops a helmet that must be taken to the warriors guild.
The toothhide is not really an important quest. Talrik might simply have too much in his pockets to carry anything else. Try buying something off him then try giving him the hide.

Longtooths hide's are not so important for the game. As this is your 2nd game,
you remember what did you see when leaving Collasium... That's Talriks treasure witch he will point to you when you give hide to him...

And that Zenmaster thing... You can have more than just one person to be Zenmaster ( as I did )
Just give tomes to another person, after you have entered into Bushi dojo, after master have asked do you want to become Zenmaster, before you say yes.

try selling the longtooth hide to Talrik, it may fullfill the quest. Tried with Algamesh's amulet, then bought it back. but it offers no exp points and you will exit the collosium near the treasure anyway.
there are a few packs of centaurs, check the names as you fight. the one that drops the helmut is Argothius, fullfilling the armory quest. the one you're looking for should be north of Ishad Nah along the coast

Welcome to the board, Taski!!!

If Talrik won't take the longtooth hide, his inventory is probably full. You can try to first buy things from him or use pickpocket (save first) which should clear space for him to accept the hide. It isn't that important a quest so you can skip it and be none the worse off.

Keep us posted on how your game is going!!

^^ Happy new year at first to all
Yesterday the board was down, so i have to send my wished 2 u today.

I have the same prob with the samurai at DragonSpire, he did not accept the arrow from the 6th char (he has accepted the 5 before). Maybe this is also the prob of full inventory....thx for this hint, i will try it later.

As i remember, the tome of fire lies in the serpent temple, is this correct ?
Is there any possibility then to get this book, when cleaning the temple ? The last time i found the key somewhere behind Brimloch and walked back...

Ok, thats enough for the moment.."I like this game!"
