If it's anything like the first BS, it's gonna be a load of BS.

Especially when one has played SystemShock 2. The enormous amount of the DUMBING DOWNS is so very apparent.

Omg how could you? Well, I never played SS 2 so I had no real expectations with Bioshock...in fact, I rarely play anything that resembles an FPS but the story instantly drew me in and then I discovered to my delight it was a kind of hybrid FPS with an amazing storyline, atmosphere and attention to detail. Despite the fact that I was brandishing a machine gun or pistol as opposed to a sword or scimitar, I loved every minute of it!

I'm still holding out hope (however slim and potentially non-existant) for a System Shock 3.

To be honest, I felt BS started out great. The first few levels were ripe with atmosphere and the cool gameplay of exploration/survival (when you have little ammo/ADAM). But as soon as the first few are over, you're swarming in resources and everything turns into a repeat (little variation in enemies). So from the first few levels which had the survival thing going on it soon turns into a grind. In the end I just lost interest so much I just berserked everything with the wrench and used the respawning thing a lot. I won the game this way. That in itself equals failure in gameplay terms.

Well, first gameplay trailer is out. I cannot wait, personally.
