Re: What would you do?
I was about to say "there's no Tim's in London". It's Ontario though, given what's on the bus in the pic.
I would return it, sans doubt.

Re: What would you do?
Same here. It sure would be nice to get an 80k windfall, though... but not at someone else's expense that way.

You know what's really funny? I would do the same thing... but when I just saw the title of this thread, I said to myself, "Take the money."
That's usually the right answer to that question

Hate to play the negative guy, but I don't know, because who keeps 80 grand in a bag? For all you know, if you returned it, you might've gotten shot for your trouble.

Re: What would you do?
It was a bag of money from a security company. Every one of those companies empty out safes and fill up atm via bags o' cash, or at least in my experience.

Re: What would you do?
10% finders fee is what I would like to say, but really, I'd be happy with 5%.
Seriously. I don't think it's bad that it was given back, but I wouldn't call the finders fee an evil, either...it's basically an insurance policy on the part of the person who loses something to ensure that they regain as much as possible that was lost. Plus, losing a little bit of the money would encourage the courier to do a better job, and generally speaking, would be good for the business. A $4000 lesson? That's tough, but it's business. It'd be different if I found some lady's purse, and it was just stuffed with money...then, the damage done is not a business ill, it's a personal ill.

Did it have a giant dollar sign on it?
