So I'm in the pocket plane, last room. I have an awesome group, and have killed all the enemies, including the SoA nasties, mostly on the first attempt. Bhaalspawn: no trouble.
But this Ravager guy. I've tried three Gate spells on him plus Avavtars - with warding whips and magic resistance lowering magics. Nothing. Had all the beefy fellas going in. Had every conceivable offensive magic combination. What's the secret?! DOes he ever stop for tea?

You need +4 or better enchanted weapons to hit the Ravager. Planetars only have +3 enchanted weapons. The Ravager is also immuned to Lower Resistance, so use Pierce Shield to reduce his magic resistance.

Hey, Dundee. Glad you're back. When I was having trouble killing JI and Bodhi in the Ascension mod, I changed into the Ravager, and they killed me right away. GRR. Had to be rescued by my stepson's mage and Nalia firing Dragon's Breath, next load.

Actually, I walzed straight over the Ravager on my first attempt. Make sure you have +4 or better weapons and get stuck in. Ignore the swords, or maybe do a horrid wilting every once in a while. Some healing potions, and you're almost there.

But maybe it was using Ravager +6 that did it in the end...
