I'm building up a new machine, and the case requires a faceless floppy. I picked one up for $1.50 at a computer show this past weekend, but it hasn't worked
Is a faceless floppy the same as taking a regular floppy drive and pulling the face off it? Or is it somehow manufactured differently? Any input and suggestions are appreciated.

Exactly how it sounds, a floppy drive that doesn't have the face plate, although I don't think you can just pull the face of a regular drive and make it work.

I'll have to google some more on it...
