Elif Afghanistans ties to Russia are ones of hate and war, the former Soviet Union invaded and tried to destroy Afghanistan, they even used Poison GAs the only reason they failed is because the United States stepped in and supported the Afghan Rebels with food, arms, training and military advisers. Remember the 80's?

I think there's a big chance someone IS setting Bin Laden up. How on earth can people be 90% sure it was him? Of course he's done suspicious things in the past, but why would this be his attack? He denied, so he if he was behind this, he has no desire to sacrifice himself for the Islam. This is not to say he didn't do it (the US has thousands of people doing research, and if they come up with his name, of course he could have done it) but it's not smart to look only at Bin while there are so many other possibilities (One theory is that only the hijackers themselves planned this operation and that they're all dead now. So who'll be punished if ther's no clear evidence? That's right: Bin Laden)

Israel would not attack USA in this way, remember they aren´t actually famous for their suicide bombers over there... To attack USA to gain what? OK, a scenario. USA supports Israel even more, Israel do what? Try to push the palestinians into the desert once and for all? And get the arabic nations against them? Not a very smart idea..

Palestinians might have something to do with it, but they would pay the most gor it, and might still do.

Russia will hardly go together with the Arabic nations, they have had their share of muslim fanatics terrorbombings at it is. They have for a long period of time being estimating the middle east as a threatzone.

Bin-Laden however guilty to this or not is an obvious target since he has declared a war against USA, not terror in his mind, but war..

Wouldn´t he in that case have targeted neuclear plants in that case? If he had the sources and intel and man.. (Just a specualation)

I still think that there is a possibility of a small network of extremists joining in these attacks.

Have anyone heard more of the 23 year date lead to the peace between Israel and Egypt that was signed US??

there is another thing

bin Laden warned about the attack because he KNEW it is going to happen, yet, it is not his plan

he probally knew someone was trying to set him up, that was why he gave warning

however, it is very very easy to twist his intention/words

"bin Laden claimed to attack ..."

in fact, he simply gave warning. now after what happened, he cannot say:

"see, I warned you, you didn't listen." that would only make him sound more like a crminal. so all he can do is deny and speak as little as possible
