I'm stuck at the end!! *spoil*

Hi everybody,

I stopped playing baldur's gate ToB 3 months ago because I can't kill the last monster Melisa.

I did all the quests in Tob (Watcher's Keep and all the maps) now with my fighter lvl 30 I can't kill Melisa because I think I definitely don't have enough experience.

Am I missing something ?

Should I start all over and import my party in BG2 before ?

I think the reason you're having such a hard time with her is your PC is too low of a level. 30th level is pretty high, granted, but it may not cut it if you're trying to beat Melissan.

I know it's considered cheating, but you may want to boost your PC up a few levels using the CLUA Console, even more so if you don't have a save before the point where you face Melissan and can't really go back anywhere to gain XP. and even if you have a previous save, it would be a painstaking and most likely horrific task trying to track down stuff to kill to level your guy up sufficiently.

the Melissan fight is pretty challenging even if you're guys are maxed out in XP, so you might want to consider boosting your guy past 30th.

Ok,
I can go to a previous game just before facing Melissan.
But where should I go to gain some xp ?

I don't know greyhat, that's a tough question considering you've finished all the rest of ToB.

maybe try the Marching Mountains, I'm fairly certain fire giants may respawn randomly around there...it sucks that you can't go back to the SoA areas, then you'd have a much better chance of leveling them up quicker.

All i can say is look for ToB areas where monsters (preferably hard and high XP ones) lurk (and respawn)...try resting in dangerous areas a lot and what not. that's the best advice i can give...
